The Regional Directors have been working aggressively to provide the following events for the benefit of all. Support them whenever possible and make all of Seidokan stronger. All events are open to any Seidokan karateka. Please email Julie Del Vecchio if you have an event you would like to promote here. July 2nd-6th, 2012: 1st International Ryukoku Seidokan Conference Sensei Nix and the Honbu dojo in Okinawa, Japan will host a week long conference. This event will be filled with various aspects of Ryukoku Seidokan Kararte as well as Okinawan cultural events. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit the birthplace of karate.  Sensei Emerson Inducted to Latin-American Hall of FameSensei Ricardo Emerson, Hachidan, was inducted into the Latin-American Martial Arts Society Hall of Fame on December 18, 2011 in Comerio, Puerto Rico. It gives me great pleasure and it is my honor to announce that on 17 October 2010, Sensei Shian Toma promoted Sensei Ron Nix to the rank of Kyudan, 9th Degree Black Belt. Sensei Nix has been in Seidokan for over 30 years and received every Black Belt from Shodan to Kyudan directly from Sensei Toma here in Okinawa, Japan. Congratulations to Sensei Ron Nix!!!
New Ryukoku Seidokan Facebook GroupA new RSKKR group has been build on Facebook that will eventually replace the current Chat Forum and Photo Gallery on this website. The fb group allows us to restrict access to Ryukoku Seidokan members only. If you have a Facebook account and are a member or RSKKR, please do a search for the Ryukoku Seidokan group and do a friend request. Directions to locate the group: 1. Go to the Friends tab and do a Search for People; type in Ryukoku Seidokan. 2. It will come back saying "No results found"; however, click on the Groups tab in the upper left hand corner. 3. Click on the group and request access Again, this group is for RSKKR members 16 and above only. This will not merely be a social group, but a means of discussing and disseminating information.

1 October 2008 - Shian Toma gives Ron Nix permission to establish the Ryukoku Seidokan Karate and Kobudo Renmei (RSKKR), an association created to perpetuate the spirit and legacy of Toma’s Seidokan Karate and Kobudo forever. The Association welcomes all students with a heritage to Sensei Shian Toma and his All Okinawan Seidokan Karate Kobudo Toide Renmei.
